Congratulations to everyone on their promotions. As usual it was a very enjoyable day with everyone working very hard to show there best Taekwon-Do.

Jenniefer Lorth you are an inspiration to everyone with your standard of Taekwon-Do. You have retuned to us after a 5 year break at University etc and shown everyone what can be achieved with dedication, a fantastic work ethic, courtesy, integrity all wrapped up in humbleness that is second to none. This is exactly what I am trying to teach and I thank you . You make me proud.

Thomas Lorth. Thank you for all your work with Jenniefer, Chris, supporting Bella and Ollie all whilst focusing on your own grading. Always giving everything 100%. This is why you were cramping up coming towards the end of the grading. As with Jenniefer you also show an amazing work ethic, discipline, courtesy, integrity all wrapped up in humbleness. Thank you

Alex Lovell. Congratulations on your promotion to 6th Dan and thank you for your dedication to General Chois Taekwon-Do. The journey continues.

To everyone else, i saw so many good things on grading day that makes me very excited for the future and i will give personal feedback to everyone in due course.

I will finish by saying thank you to everyone who played their part in yesterday’s grading which was a great success. We will learn our new patterns now and help prepare Master Kirsten’s EmpowerU students for their grading early December. This will also include a few Taranaki TKD students who were unable to grade yesterday.

A huge thank you to those who were able to get video footage of the grading. Also thank you to our official photographers. I am very excited to see what I am sure will be fantastic memories of the day.

On a final note. How many students will return to class on Tuesday night knowing their new pattern?
